Does TypeLouder make my typing laggy?
No. TypeLouder listens for key events without sitting between you and your keyboard, so it cannot delay or block a keystroke. Samples are loaded into memory before you type, so playback starts immediately. Bluetooth headphones add their own output delay, so wired output or built-in speakers will always feel tightest.
Can it read what I type?
No. TypeLouder never captures, stores, or transmits your keystrokes. It only needs to know that a key was pressed in order to pick a sound. The app has no network permission at all, so it has no way to send anything anywhere even in principle.
Can I choose where the sounds play?
Yes. You can route TypeLouder to any audio output available on your Mac, independently of the rest of your system. Choose built-in speakers, headphones, a display, an audio interface, or any other connected output.
What does it cost?

Which Macs does it work on?
