What a ASUS ROG Azoth
sounds like.

Each button plays a short phrase typed on that switch family, so you are comparing rhythm rather than a single tap. Play two in a row — that is where the difference actually shows up.

These are recordings of the switch family, not of this exact keyboard. That is the honest way to do it — the family is what dominates the sound, and switch options move between model years and regions. Check the listing before buying on the strength of a match here.

지금 듣고 있는 것

How it
실제로 내는 소리.

The Azoth is a gasket-mounted board with three layers of foam, factory pre-lubed switches, and hot-swap sockets — a spec sheet lifted wholesale from the custom keyboard world and dropped into a gaming lineup. ASUS even included a switch lubing kit in the box, which was either a genuine gesture or an excellent piece of marketing.

It sounds like the construction promises: full, low, and well controlled, with none of the plate ring that defines conventional gaming boards. The pre-lubed switches remove the scratchiness that would otherwise show through, and the foam stack takes care of the rest.

Against a dedicated custom it is a little less refined and the stabilisers are not quite at that level, but as the first mainstream gaming board to take this seriously it landed a long way ahead of its category.

A 75% gasket-mounted board with a three-layer foam stack, ROG NX switches pre-lubed at the factory, hot-swap sockets taking standard MX switches, and an OLED display. Wireless with a 2.4 GHz dongle and Bluetooth. The included lube kit and switch puller signal the intended audience clearly enough.

좋은 질문들

ASUS ROG Azoth
관련 질문.

Is the ROG Azoth a real custom keyboard?

It is a mass-produced board built to custom specifications — gasket mount, foam stack, pre-lubed switches, hot-swap sockets — rather than a hand-assembled one. That gets you most of the sound of a custom without the build. Purists will point at the stabilisers and the plastic gasket implementation, and they have a point, but the gap is smaller than the price difference.

Why did ASUS include a lubing kit?

Because the switches ship pre-lubed but the stabilisers do not, and lubing stabilisers is the single highest-value modification on almost any keyboard. It also signalled the board's positioning very effectively: this was a gaming brand telling enthusiasts it understood what they cared about.

How does the Azoth compare to a Keychron Q1?

Both are gasket-mounted 75% boards with foam and hot-swap. The Q1 has a machined aluminium case and significant mass, so it goes lower. The Azoth is lighter, wireless, has an OLED, and ships with pre-lubed switches. On pure sound the Q1 wins; on features the Azoth does.
