What a Cooler Master MK770
sounds like.

Each button plays a short phrase typed on that switch family, so you are comparing rhythm rather than a single tap. Play two in a row — that is where the difference actually shows up.

These are recordings of the switch family, not of this exact keyboard. That is the honest way to do it — the family is what dominates the sound, and switch options move between model years and regions. Check the listing before buying on the strength of a match here.

你听到的是什么

How it
实际听起来是什么样。

The MK770 takes the CK720's construction — gasket mount, foam stack, Kailh Box switches, hot-swap — and applies it to a wireless 75% layout. The larger case gives it slightly more body than the 65%, and it lands as a full, moderately low keyboard with very little ring.

The Box linear versions are the smoother option and show off the foam stack. The Box White clicky is sharp and precise in the way Box clicky switches always are, with the gasket mount taking some of the harshness out of it.

It is a good, unremarkable-in-the-best-sense keyboard: nothing about how it sounds will surprise anyone who has heard a modern gasket-mounted board, which is a considerable improvement on where the brand was a few years ago.

A wireless 75% gasket-mounted board with a foam stack and hot-swap sockets, running Kailh Box switches. Tri-mode connectivity — wired, 2.4 GHz, and Bluetooth — with a rotary knob and per-key RGB. Structurally it is the CK720 scaled up, with the same acoustic priorities.

Which one to pick

Choosing
the switch.

The linear is the choice that plays to the foam stack and gasket mount. Box White gives you the sharper, more consistent click discussed on the CK720 page, with a little of the edge taken off by the larger damped case.

值得一问的问题

Cooler Master MK770
常见问题。

What is the difference between the MK770 and CK720?

Size and connectivity. The MK770 is a wireless 75% with tri-mode connectivity and a rotary knob; the CK720 is a wired 65%. Both are gasket-mounted with foam and hot-swap sockets running Kailh Box switches, so they sound closely related, with the MK770 having slightly more body from the larger case.

Does wireless affect how a keyboard sounds?

Not directly, but indirectly it can. Wireless boards carry a battery, which adds mass low in the case and can slightly lower the sound, and they sometimes sacrifice internal space that would otherwise hold foam. On the MK770 neither effect is significant — it sounds like what it is, a well-damped gasket-mounted board.

Is the MK770 good for typing as well as gaming?

Yes, and arguably more so. A gasket mount, a foam stack, and hot-swap sockets are typing-board features that happen to be on a keyboard sold with RGB. The 75% layout keeps the function row and arrows, which most people want for work, and the switches can be changed to anything you like later.
